Bio

Singer Songwriter, Sophia St. Helen, captures, then releases you into an ethereally beautiful, folk-rock vibe with her seductively smooth vocals and melodic storytelling.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, St. Helen moved to Europe when she was 17 years old, and has been splitting her time ever since. Her love for travel and exploration has inspired many of her tracks, which have diary-like intimacy and explore themes like love, heartbreak and self-discovery. Her main instruments include the acoustic guitar and her voice, but St. Helen also plays electric guitar and piano in her recorded music, and loves working with other musicians and producers to create arrangements with more depth of sound.

St. Helen released her debut album, "None the Wiser" in 2020, and was featured in music magazines such as PopMatters, Atwood Magazine and For the Rabbits.  With most live-performances being put  on hold, St. Helen did was unable to promote and perform her work as she would have liked, but she did get a few chances to play live, including venues like The Dreamaway Lodge in the Berkshires, MA and at the Gazarte Roof Stage opening for Leon of Athens in Athens, Greece. She has also played as a guitar player and back-up singer at South by Southwest, Primavera Music Festival, and other festivals and events in the U.S. and Europe.

St. Helen is due to release her second album in 2023, and is excited to share her music globally.
